Meeting the Company

Carol earned a dual BS degree in Marketing and Management from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After graduation, she joined the buyers’ program of The May Company in Cleveland (now known as Macy’s, Inc.) where she managed a department for two years. Carol then worked in sales for the food division of Lever Brothers (a division of Unilever) until she joined the family manufacturing business in 1985.
Carol has been at Airmate Company for 30 years where she has worked in nearly all sales, marketing and management capacities before becoming president in 1999. She bought the company in 2000. She has worked to build a strong Management Team of leaders in key roles who can bring new ideas to keep the company strong and growing.
Carol has been involved in the community through service to the YWCA, the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce where she was President and Chair of the Government Affairs Committee, a trustee to The Bryan Area Foundation and also in her church. In 2007 Carol received the Athena Award and in that same year was recognized by INC Magazine as one of the 5000 fastest growing small businesses.
Currently she works with Williams County Economic Development and NW State Community College to inform area students about the job opportunities in technical work throughout the tri county area. She is a charter member of the Toledo Area WBE Networking Group.
